Work produced in the studio is hand built slab or coiled ceramic forms. The aim throughout the work is to bring out the spirit of the clay. Each clay, when worked has a different quality; this depicts the type of organic surface decoration.


Vessels produced are made in small groups; this helps to create a rhythmic flow from one vessel to the next, a glaze is always added to the centre, sometimes the vessels are burnished and then polished to bring out slight surface colouration. All vessels and forms are a one-off, never repeated so each vessel is unique
